Ragusa Ibla.
Ibla is the ancient part of the city of Ragusa even if it can be considered a small town in its own right. It is a set of houses built along the sides of the Ibla plateau. What is so particular about this ancient small town is its excellent conservation. This excursion also offers the magnificent baroque buildings and churches and the well looked after Ibla Gardens. Ragusa Ibla has also been declared a world heritage site.

Modica.
One of the eight Baroque municipalities in the Noto Valley that have been declared a world heritage site, Modica also offers a great food and wine tradition and in particular its chocolate which has been created following an ancient Aztec recipe.

Il Castello di Donnafugata.
This small village has very ancient origins, in fact it dates back to the late ancient times – early Middle Ages. Its name, which is also the district’s name, is of Arabic origin – Ayn as jafât – and means source of health, and through dialectal transpositions has become Donnafugata. Local legends would have the name attributed to various events having to do with women who were kidnapped or had run away – the most famous being the story of Bianca of Navarra who would have been kidnapped by Count Cabrera who had been refused by her
