L'Isola Bella

Le Gole dell'Alcantara
It seems like entering the mouth of a dragon when you immerge in the waters of the Alcantara at the point where the river, that has eroded the ancient Etna lava flows for thousands of years, has given life to its fascinating and deep gorges. A unique geological formation which has been brought about by the erosion of the columnar basalt.
